Waka Pacific helps kidz celebrate Christmas

2nd, December 2009

Waka Pacific is helping Kidz First Children’s Hospital get into the festive spirit by supporting their upcoming Christmas party.

The party, which is to be held at SkyCity Convention Centre on 5 December, is a chance for 200 children from the hospital to get out and have some fun in the lead up to Christmas.

Waka Pacific, which is in a community partnership with Kidz First Children’s Hospital, is providing four buses to transport all the children to and from the event.

Warren Fowler, General Manager of Waka Pacific, says he and his team are honoured they have the opportunity to help make this a great day for all the children involved.

“At Waka Pacific we believe in supporting events that are important to our community,” says Warren.  “These children are from within our community and, as we all know, Christmas is a special time of year for all children.”

“To have the chance to be a part of this day and to be able to help to make Christmas just a little bit more fun for these children means a lot to us here at Waka Pacific.”

On the buses, Waka Pacific will ensure the children are treated to a fun-filled trip.   Volunteers will help to temporary tattoo the kids and Waka Pacific goodie bags filled with treats will be given out to everyone.
