Waka Pacific believes it plays a key role in all the communities we serve. Public transport, by its very nature, ensures people have a safe, easy and convenient way of getting about the places where they live, work and play.
One of the most important features of public transport is that it is affordable. This also means that Waka Pacific does not have a large or limitless budget for sponsorships. However, we do help organisations in the community where we can.

Waka Pacific is proud to sponsor the ASB Polyfest, an event that celebrates the cultural diversity of the Auckland region by showcasing the very best of secondary school cultural performance talent. This year the festival celebrates its 35th Anniversary and Waka Pacific are proud to be a Platinum sponsor of the Cook Island stage.
Manukau Festival of Arts
Waka Pacific is a sponsor of the Manukau Festival of Arts 09, providing a colourful eye-catching bus to cruise the streets of Counties Manukau, and beyond, promoting the event.
The festival provides a platform to showcase Manukau’s talent and to celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of culture in Counties Manukau. Waka Pacific is proud to support the Counties Manukau artistic community through this important community event.
The Manukau Festival of Arts 09 runs from 16 October to 15 November and brings together an array of talent in visual art, music and dance, with a new emphasis on youth events.

Kidz First Children's Hospital
Waka Pacific is proud to support Kidz First Children's Hospital.
Kidz First Children's Hospital is purpose built to deliver family-centered health care to the children of Counties Manukau. Their focus on the medical, emotional and social needs of young people helps grow healthy communities for everyone.
Waka Pacific's distinctive Kidz First bus has become a familiar sight to many Waka Pacific passengers.
