Waka Pacific

Waka Pacific serves the people of Manukau, Papakura and Pukekohe and connects them with many locations between south Auckland and Auckland’s CBD.

Waka Pacific means “vessel of the Pacific” and reflects the multi-cultural nature of the community Waka Pacific serves – Manukau. Using Waka Pacific buses, passengers can visit Rainbow’s end, Manukau City Shopping Centre, the Auckland Botanic Gardens, Manukau Institute of Technology, the Pacific Events Centre and Auckland International Airport (from Botany).

The four different designs are inspired by the vibrant and diverse cultures that make up the communities in the area.
